Lake Carmi is a charming camping and lake facility located in Enosburg falls Vermont on RT 236 not far from Saint Albans and Swanton. It is part of Vermont state parks and is the fourth largest lake in Vermont. When you pull into this park the first thing you see are happy campers and well maintained park. The next big thing you will notice is the employees who run the park are very interactive with all who come there. This is a very family friendly place.
This is one of the best locations to enjoy in Vermont as the camping areas are spacious and fairly private and there is a ton to do at this lake.
Not only is this a very clean place to take your family but there are so many activities to enjoy. There are nature trails and you can hike to the bogs. There are canoes and kayaks to rent along with sunning on the beach, fishing and playgrounds. After enjoying a great sunset the crackling of the campfire against the cool night is so relaxing.
This particular place turned out to have very friendly campers and lots of children playing but everyone seemed to respect each others privacy at the same time. It’s a great family location to get away to for a week or a short weekend trip.
The prices are really fair starting around $16.00 per night and they offer packages to longer stays. |
